Claus for a Cause is a fundraising initiative created with a simple but powerful goal: to support Family Action in ensuring that every family in the UK can experience the joy and warmth of Christmas, regardless of their financial circumstances.
We raise funds for Family Action, a registered charity with over 150 years of experience supporting families in need, to make a real and lasting difference in the lives of those who need it most.
About Family Action
Who They Are
Founded in 1869, Family Action is a national charity providing practical, emotional, and financial support to families facing poverty, mental health issues, and social isolation across England.
Their Impact
Family Action helps over 60,000 families annually, provides 350,000 children with healthy breakfasts daily, and gives 11,000 toys to children at Christmas who might otherwise go without.
Family Action (Registered Charity Number: 264713) has been at the forefront of supporting vulnerable families for over 150 years. They work across England providing essential services that strengthen families and improve lives through practical support, emotional guidance, and financial assistance.
Their work includes providing emergency grants for families in crisis, supporting children's wellbeing and development, helping parents with mental health challenges, offering parenting programs, and providing practical support to families facing financial hardship. They also run the annual Toy Appeal to ensure children experience Christmas joy.
